Account Setup¶
Create your Functional AI account and explore the dashboard.
Creating Your Account¶
- Go to the Functional AI website
- Click Sign Up
- Enter your email and password (minimum 8 characters)
- Click Create Account
Email Verification¶
- Check your inbox for a verification email
- Click the verification link
- Log in with your credentials
Didn't receive the email?
Check your spam folder or request a new verification email from the login page.
Dashboard Overview¶
After logging in, you'll see your main dashboard with navigation on the left sidebar.
Interactive Onboarding Tour
On first login, an interactive tour guides you through key features. You can dismiss it anytime or restart it by clicking the help icon (bottom-right corner).

Your account starts on the Basic tier.

Profile Settings¶
- Click Account in the sidebar
- Update:
- Profile avatar
- Display name
- Email preferences
API Key¶
Your API key is in the Account section for programmatic access.
Keep Your API Key Secret
Never share your API key publicly. Treat it like a password.
Troubleshooting
Can't log in - Verify email and password - Reset password if needed - Clear browser cache
Dashboard looks broken - Refresh the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R) - Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) - Disable browser extensions
API key not showing - Navigate to Account section - Scroll down to find your API key
